My dad and I have a routine where we go on a very intense 3-4 hour workout walking around the Han River. But unfortunately, the workout plan seldom gets suspended without further adieu when we simply cannot resist the temptation of Jaws Ddukbokki, conveniently located right in the middle of our workout route.

Our meal at Jaws always consists of Ddukboki, Oden, and Tempuras (Yummy Gim-mari, Mandoo, and Squid!). Out of all the Korean style fast food joints, this is my pick.

Ddukbokki is a little to spicy for me (I have to order a side of peach flavored Calpice to suppress the spicy component) but it’s chewy, it’s delicious,  and it has the kick that I’m looking for. After fishing out chewy Dduks (rice cake bites), I move onto tempuras. I painfully repeat the process of showering tempuras in Ddukbokki sauce and immediately regretting the decision as I always get hiccups when it’s just too spicy. But I ain’t bovvered!
